The primary tool used is the Nd:YAG 1064 nm module, based on the principle of selective thermolysis. The laser radiation is selectively absorbed by blood hemoglobin, and the thermal energy is transferred to the vessel wall, acting directly on the endothelium of large reticular veins, causing them to spasm and coagulate. Combined with sclerotherapy, this speeds up vessel sealing, resorption, and, ultimately, disappearance.

At the same time, even the most advanced equipment is not a universal solution for every clinical situation.
